As a stagehand at AJ Marks, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of live events, including conferences, concerts, trade shows, and corporate gatherings. You will work closely with our experienced production team to set up and dismantle event equipment, assist with stage design, handle audiovisual systems, and contribute to the overall success of each event.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with equipment setup and breakdown, including lighting, sound systems, and audiovisual components.

• Collaborate with the production team to bring stage designs to life, ensuring a visually stunning and functional setup.

• Provide support during rehearsals and live performances, ensuring smooth transitions and prompt problem-solving.

• Ensure the proper handling and storage of event equipment, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

• Collaborate with fellow stagehands, technicians, and event staff to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service.

 

Requirements:

• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding environments.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours, as events often require non-traditional schedules.

• Basic technical knowledge of audiovisual systems, lighting, and stage equipment is preferred.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work well under pressure.

• Prior experience in live event production or a related field is advantageous but not required. We welcome candidates with a passion for the industry and a willingness to learn.
